A virtual youth movement by & for queer youth and young adults.
As a strong team, we work together to advocate for LGBTQ+ & mental health issues.
As part of our youth movement, we volunteer together on queer and mental health issues.
We have already been active since the end of 2019. At that time only a small troop of motivated people, we then finally launched the "RainbowWarriors" in mid-2020.
Our vision is to create a world where everyone can love whom and be who they want.
With our queer youth movement, we plan and implement various projects to work towards this goal. We know that it is extremely difficult to achieve such an "ideal".... but that doesn't mean you shouldn't at least try, right?
On our website you find an overview of our current, completed & upcoming projects. Feel free to take a look.
You want to become a part of the RainbowWarriors? Nice! 🙂 Then just click on the button below - there you will find all further information.
We are more than just a collection of random people, we see ourselves more as a small elective family in which everyone is accepted as they are.
Did you know that 39% of the LGBTQ+ community suffers from mental illness? (MHA, 2018)
Younger queer people are particularly affected by this. That's why we focus not only on LGBTQ+ engagement, but also on mental health issues.
Feel free to check out our current projects. If you want to become part of the RainbowWarriors youth movement, we have more information for you here. If you are over 27, but still want to join or support us, you are welcome to do so as part of our mentor team or as a financial supporter.
Supporting young people, accompanying them on part of their journey, and getting to know so many great, unique personalities along the way - after more than 10 years, that still inspires me every day in queer youth work.
In the middle of 2019 I decided to start my own voluntary youth club and since then I spend almost every free minute of my spare time there.
What you see here is my dream come true and it would mean the world to me if you would support us.
